I Corinthians 14:7-8 reads, "Instruments need to play their notes clearly or no one will recognize the melody. If the trumpet doesn't sound a clear call, how will the soldiers know that they are being called to battle?" Believers have been gathering and worshipping without sound boards, microphones, and guitar amps since Christ left us with His Great Commission 2,000 years ago. It's important that our church never focuses on technology as an enhancement of the Gospel itself, but instead as a way to enhance the presentation of the perfect, heart changing Gospel.

It often takes more effort to "keep things simple" than it does to make things flashy and bombastic. Our Sound and Tech Ministry is committed to streamlining our services and using our knowledge of technology to help our congregations worship and learn. If you're interested in working behind the scenes in our services, contact Duane Kinna and join our Sound Tech rotation team.
