“So be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid. God is with you everywhere you go.” Joshua 1:9
We don’t have to toss aside our hopes and dreams when we accept Jesus. Not even close. When we follow Jesus, he unleashes us to live the extraordinary lives we were fearfully and wonderfully made to lead! Kids Unleashed is an exciting new take on midweek children’s ministry that teaches kids — with the help of business owners and community leaders — that you can love Jesus and grow up to be a firefighter, chef, filmmaker, scientist, doctor, nurse… whatever it is that God plants in your heart and calls you to be.
What is Kids Unleashed?
Each uniquely themed Kids Unleashed “session” features eight Wednesday evening classes (6:30-8:00pm), rounded out with a special weekend event the eighth week. With each session, our teachers invite local Christian business owners and community leaders to TGSM. (Guests are thoroughly vetted and background-checked.) Together, our team and each session’s guests help kids grow closer to Jesus and show them all the exciting ways they can live for God while pursuing a variety of dreams and futures.
How does Kids Unleashed work?
Here’s just one example, coming this Winter in early 2023. Imagine an 8-week cooking session where children not only actively learn how to make delicious food, but do so alongside of restaurant owners and professional chefs who have personal relationships with Christ. Now add to that tons of games, activities, team challenges, testimonies, engaging lessons, a family event at the end of the session, and more. What do you have? Eight weeks of hands-on fun and adventure. Imagine the array of gifts and talents your child will discover and experience!
