OM-coffee-Bible-evangelismSunday School
(All Ages, Children and Adults)
Our Sunday School classes for all ages meet on Sunday mornings at 9:15am. Each class is designed to further connect people to one another and to help all involved know, love and serve Jesus, fellowship with one another, and enhance each person’s understanding of scripture.  Every class is covered in prayer and is designed to further your relationship with Christ.
small groupsTuesday Evening Electives
(Young Adults, Adults and Seniors)
We usually offer a variety of special and seasonal electives on Tuesday evenings throughout the year. Classes are unfortunately on hold for the time being. Keep your eyes open for details as to when special classes, electives and bible studies will resume, and be in prayer that God continues to watch over our church and our country during this difficult time.
Music Team Ministry
Worship music is more than songs; it’s an expression of our love of God and another way to grow in Him. Our music and choir teams are open to singers and instrumentalists of any experience and range. We view each practice and opportunity to minister through music as a special extension of our relationship with Christ.  After all, “It’s not about us!” Contact Melanie Witmer or Pam Starliper for more info.
Visitation and Meal Ministries
When someone is in the hospital or confined to their home, we make it a priority to visit, pray with families, prepare meals, and offer any other help we can. We are brothers and sisters in Christ, called to tend to one another in times of need! Our team works diligently to provide love, prayer and support to those who are sick, recovering from surgery, or dealing with grief after the death of  a loved one.
Missions Ministries
TGSM has always been a missional church, supporting local, domestic and international missions through prayer, financial support, a variety of projects and more. To learn more about the missionaries we support and our missions endeavors, visit the Missions section of our website.
Shepherd’s Groups
Our Shepherd’s Groups are specialized small groups that meet at homes during the week for fellowship, study, prayer and support. We offer groups comprised of members from different backgrounds or stations in life. Each group also prioritizes outreach within and outside of the church body.
Hearts of Love
Our Hearts of Love ministry (HoL) works with Samaritan’s Purse over the course of the year to send shoe boxes filled with essential items around the world to children in need. These aren’t just shoeboxes either. Each one is used by missionaries to share the gospel. HoL meets at least once a month and also helps with outreach banquets, meals and other things that serve people in our church and community.
Easter Seals
There are many overlooked adults who have difficulty “getting to Jesus” by traditional means due to life-altering disabilities. Our work with Easter Seals and adults with special needs is designed to clear away such obstacles, connecting everyone to Jesus with the help of compassionate volunteers who desire to serve and love as our Savior did. Please contact the church office if you’d like more information.
BreakfastMen’s and Ladies’ Breakfast
Once a month, we gather together to eat breakfast, fellowship, and to hear the testimonies of a monthly speaker. Currently all breakfasts are cancelled, however, when they resume, know that they’re a wonderful way for our TGSM family, as well as visitors and extended family, to meet off site and build each other up in the wonderful love of Christ!
Celebrate Recovery Prison Ministry
Our Celebrate Recovery prison ministry cultivates Christ-centered relationships inside prison walls, embracing incarcerated individuals and watching as their lives are transformed. Bible study, teaching and mentoring combine to help prisoners connect to Jesus and renewed purpose. Contact Stephen Connolly or Keith Witmer for more details.
Ushers and Greeters
Our ushers and greeters are dedicated to helping others during each of our services; offering friendly faces and helpful hands as needs arise, assisting regular attendees, welcoming and helping visitors as they arrive, fulfilling support roles in the worship service, serving communion, addressing concerns, and answering any questions. Contact Keith Witmer for more information.
Security Security Team
In today’s changing world, safety is a top priority at TGSM.  Multiple members of our security team are on duty during each service, watching for any potential issues that might arise. All team members receive specialized training and utilize the latest technology to keep everyone who enters TGSM safe and at ease! Contact Roger Otzelberger for more information about security.
Media Ministry
The sound booth and AV teams keep our services up to date, using the blessings of modern technology to enhance our ministries.  If you have any interest in being a part of the Media Ministry team, contact David Dick or Tim Hult.
Building & Lawn Care
We see the maintenance of God’s house as a calling to the congregation; one we take seriously! Our church family often volunteers to assist with inside and outside maintenance projects. See Mike Mowen to join the team!
