Whether it’s a cold, flu or Covid variant, we work to protect our kids and grandkids, as well as those with compromised immune systems. The following is our TGSM Child and Youth Wellness Policy. We hope this helps families make good decisions for their households and protect the many people they worship alongside. Also, when in doubt, shoot us a message or e-mail using the links below! Feel free to ask about the best way to handle any specific health situation, viral exposure or potentially contagious illness.

In order to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our children, as well as our children’s ministry team members, we ask that parents and grandparents keep children at home when presenting the following symptoms within the past 24 hours:
- Fever (child should be fever free for 24+ hours without fever-reducing medication)
- Stomach ache, vomiting or diarrhea
- Common cold and/or viral sore throat
- Runny nose with colored discharge
- Excessive cough
- Any symptoms of illnesses such as chicken pox, strep throat, pink eye, RSV etc.
- Undiagnosed rash
- Use of antibiotics in the past 24 hours

Due to the varying nature of the COVID-19 variants and the various symptoms involved, we ask that whenever a member of your household presents Covid symptoms or has had a serious Covid exposure that you and your family follow CDC guidance, remain at home and take advantage of our online video services.
Please understand that we know how frustrating the continuing developments surrounding COVID-19 can be. However, it’s important that we, as a body of believers who care for one another, continue to serve those we worship alongside, and that we work to help prevent the spread of any illness as best we can – COVID, flu, colds, you name it.
